Augmented Reality (AR) is no longer just for consumers — it has reached industrial quality control. With Twyn, deviations become visible instantly: thanks to AR, the CAD model is superimposed on the component, enabling quick target/actual comparison. Inspections can be done directly on site — without sending parts to a metrology room. Running on a tablet, Twyn offers maximum flexibility wherever components are produced or stored. Streamlining the process: after a quick but reliable visual inspection with Twyn, it can be efficiently decided whether a subsequent measurement with a metrology system is required to determine the exact deviation. This makes it much faster to decide whether rework or correction is required, or whether the part can be released for the next stage of production.
